Component Defaults

Summary

Global component defaults are set in the defaults.json file.. Brand component defaults are set in the relevant brands/${ brand-name }.json file.

Brand-specific defaults will override the global defaults.

Schemas using $ref will merge the defaults. This is a good place to start debugging if your data doesn't look right.

The defaults are applied in the hydration process after the environment data (either mock or WordPress) has been loaded.
