Custom plugin sidebars (opens in a new tab) can be added and included using the same conventions as the filters feature.
Current sidebars
Currently the pmc-gutenberg plugin contains two sidebars enqueued where the features are supported.
- PMC Sidebar which is visible as a PMC logo in the Block Editor.
- Nova Sidebar currently only serves to register the custom store.
Adding a new Plugin Sidebar

Considerations
Determine if a pluginSidebar is necessary or if a slotfill would suffice.
A plugin sidebar is intended to be used to group elements not immediatly necessary for post creation.
